James M. Bell III, CFP®

Senior Advisor - Langhorne Office

Jim is a Senior Advisor with Foundations Financial Partners. As a Financial Advisor, Jim provides comprehensive wealth management services with a focus on integrating investment management, risk management, and financial planning. He specializes in working with retirees and pre-retirees on income and education planning, and practices out of our Langhorne office.

Jim has a dual bachelor’s degree in political science and english from Millersville University. He attained the professional certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in 2007. He holds his FINRA Series 7 and 63 security registrations as well as his Life, Accident and Health insurance license.

Jim has been serving clients in wealth management and financial planning for over 25 years, running his own business for the last 15 of those years. Jim is a strong believer in understanding the big picture, that is why he decided to partner with Foundations Financial Partners at this point in his career. This wholistic and long-term picture Jim chose to reevaluate was centered on the best interest of his clients: How can I continue to develop my expertise as an advisor? How can I take advantage of technology to improve the client experience? Do I have the highest level of freedom and independence to customize solutions for each of my clients individually? How can I elevate the team around me so I can focus more on my clients and less on business operations? Jim found the answers to these questions in Foundations and brings those resolutions to every client relationship!

“I am entirely focused on making sure my clients will have the income-producing assets they need to provide for a comfortable lifestyle in retirement. I believe the primary tool to ensure this outcome is an actively managed approach to my clients’ portfolios. This approach demands a great appreciation for risk management and constant monitoring of the investment climate. I see active management as not being satisfied with how things have been done in the past; it’s being creative and not waiting for something to happen but being proactive and thinking ahead.”

Jim and his wife, Jodi, reside in Newtown, PA and have two daughters, Juliana and Jamie. Jim likes to stay active in his community and serves on the finance team at his local church. He’s an avid golfer and enjoys traveling, especially within the US.

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal:   it is the courage to continue that counts.”
